As most of you are (I suppose) I am SOOO ready for the weekend! Family fun, nature and (hopefully) a bit of sun, too! We usually try to escape the city at least once every weekend. Oslo is luckily surrounded by beautiful forests, which are really easy to reach, both by car and public transport.
If you also love to stroll in the nature, I would strongly recommend you to get Trilleturer by Gry Støvind Hoell. A book that contains over 50 different child friendly hikes around Oslo. I find it super useful because it...
The downside, for the ones that don't speak norsk, though is that it's only available in Norwegian (or at least it was when I bought it about a year ago). If you have anybody at home that can translate, great! If you don't, you might want to use the Google's Translate images feature (take a picture of the page and get it translated, easy peasy!).
Interested? I bought it at ARK for 299NOK, but I'm sure you can find it in many other bookshops. It's also a great gift for other moms and dads to help them explore Oslo's surroundings.
