Would you like to exercise in the nature, meet other mums and discover some of Oslo's beautiful surroundings? Then Trilletur Oslo is the perfect plan or you!
These trilleturer (which basically means strolling trips) take place on a weekly basis all year round. You just have to follow them on Facebook and stay tuned for their latest events. Each week they'll post the location and meeting time of their next trip. All you have to do is mark your attendance on the Facebook event and show up. All excursions end at a cabin or café where you can snack something, breastfeed and change nappies.
My trilletur today was in Bygdøy. We walked almost 8km and ended the stroll at Kafé Villa Grande. A little piece of advice, leave home with good timing if you're taking public transport. Today there were so many mums joining that the bus got full very quickly. There was no more space for strollers, so some mums had to wait for the next bus.
At first I was a little bit concerned to see myself surrounded by Norwegian mums only, but not at all. Most were norsk, yes, but they were super nice and had no problem talking English to me. Overall, it was really nice to get to chat to other mums while moving a little. And Thea got to sleep in the fresh for over 2 hours straight (big achievement these days!). She loooved the bumpy roads ;).
