Hello everyone! I'm back! Not only back to my keyboard, but back to Oslo and also back to my own self after 9 months of pregnancy and 7 months of adapting to my new role as a mom of two (moms and dads of 3+ kids, I admire you!!!).
So, what have we been up to lately? Well, shortly after our new little one was born we traveled to Barcelona and stayed there for 4 months during my partner’s paternal leave. I have to say… it's been the longest, most amazing “vacation” we've had together. It hasn't really been a relaxing holidays in the sense of long, calm mornings or naps after lunch of course, but it has been incredible to be the 4 of us together with no alarms and nobody urging to their inbox in the morning. Just us on a Saturday mood every single day. 100% recommended to anyone thinking about traveling abroad during their parental leave.
And what about Barcelona? Super children friendly! I myself come from there, but I had never explored the city as a mom before. This experience has allowed me to discover the most familiar face of the city. Amazing! Loads of playgrounds, indoor playing areas, a lot of children friendly museums, restaurants, theatres, super fun activities for the youngest ones and many cultural options, too.
During my last weeks of pregnancy I took advantage of all the hours spent on the sofa and drafted this Google map where I pinned quite a few family friendly spots. So if any of you is planning a holiday in Barcelona with kids, feel free to check it out.
So what's next? New adventures and new places to discover here in Oslo as a mom of two I guess! I actually have already a few spots I'd like to tell you about, so keep an eye on the blog ;).
Happy week everyone!!!!
